Style Notes — The Endless Knot Bomber
The Endless Knot Bomber is one of the most personal pieces in the Haruka collection — a garment that carries both story and symbolism at its core.
Haruka has always been a brand where depth, meaning, and identity are woven into the fabric, and this design reflects that entirely.
I first developed this style as a hand-knit, with Poonam’s help, in the late 2000s — when both my son Haruka and the brand that carries his name were still young. From the beginning, it embodied a sense of fusion — East and West, tradition and modernity — much like the life and outlook that shaped it.
The Endless Knot motif, knitted into the back, originates from Tibetan Buddhism and is one of the eight auspicious symbols. It represents the interconnectedness of all things, and the continuous flow of wisdom, compassion, and life itself.
Along the sleeves, a chunky double cable draws from Western Celtic tradition — another expression of unity and the endless cycle of birth, death, and renewal.
Together, these two motifs form a dialogue between cultures — a woven language of infinity.
The word Haruka, drawn from an ancient Kanji, carries this same meaning: something eternal, without end.
A bomber-shaped cardigan, knitted in 4-ply pure lambswool, the Endless Knot Bomber combines warmth, structure, and story.
A chunky cable knit motif runs down the front, creating a tactile surface that feels sculptural and strong. The wide ribbed collar fastens neatly to a high neck, while fitted sleeves mirror the cable design — adding texture, warmth, and character.
The front fastening features sturdy brass poppers sewn onto a ribbed edge, reinforced with matching cotton twill tapefor strength. A wide ribbed hemline balances the proportions of the garment.
On the back, the raised Endless Knot motif gives the piece its name — a tactile symbol of connection and continuity.
Distinctive, expressive, and functional, the Endless Knot Bomber is a true statement of craft and identity — designed to be lived in, loved, and remembered.

Materials and Care
Knitted from 100% pure lambswool. Treat natural fibres with care and they’ll last for years.
Washing Instructions:
Hand wash or use a cold knitwear cycle with gentle wool detergent.
Do not wring or tumble dry. Lay flat to dry, or dry clean.
Lambswool doesn’t need washing after every wear — simply air between uses.
Store folded, not hung, to preserve its shape.
All pure wool knits may pill slightly over time; remove gently with a wool comb as needed.
