Lotus Dress

Description

The Lotus dress is an unusual pattern, an extremely full, almost a half circle lower half of the dress is cleverly stitched and hitched to create an asymetrical hem line. Both the front and the back of the dress are tailored to an point at the hem. The drape of the dress is very feminine and dances with the wearer.

The top is not an empire line but sits across the bust. Have a look at the pictures to see. This is an unusual block and a new shape developed by Amanda for Haruka. We currently only have a few pieces of this dress and in one size only. The body shape it fits best is; size 8 to 12, maybe 14, not too busty, 5'4" minimum height. Sorry we haven't got one for everyone yet.

We only have a few pieces in different fabrics, hence the different prices.

Some are hand spun, hand woven,organic, veg dyed fabrics. One of the properties of vegetable dye, especially indigo is that it fades naturally and beautifully with time. Wash with gentle detergent and dry out of direct sunlight

Other colours are mill dyed cotton dyed with AZO free dyes.
