Celine Split Front Cotton Lycra Maxi Dress

The Celine Dress is simple and elegant but not boring.

 A wide round neckline and short T-shirt sleeves make it casual and comfortable for all weather.  The Dress has a low empire line (almost a high waist) and is A-Line shaped below that. The Celine dress is split open at the front but is not revealing because there is a panel of fabric inside which wraps around the body to the other hem but is not stitched vertically.

 It is a subtle effect, it gives the dress character and, perhaps more importantly, the A-line shape with a fluidity of fabric is flattering on the body as is the vertical line of the panel. It's also really comfortable to move around and lounge around in.

Whether layered with tights, boots, and a woolly cardigan in the winter, with palazzo pants for meditation or dance, with a shawl for texture and simple elegance or rolled up in a suitcase for a beach holiday. I think this dress could tick a lot of boxes and have a varied field of play. A T-shirt dress with a twist.
