Amelie Maxi Dress Cotton Lycra

The Amelie dress is a long fitted maxi dress. Boot length rather than full length for most people over 5 feet. But of course how high the dress sits also depends on how many curves you have.

The front and back are constructed in a crossing / crossing V shape. There is ample room for boobs at the front and the dress has a moderately low back. The sleeves are wide cap sleeves and can be buttoned up with a loop concealed inside the sleeve to add an extra detail. There is a wide empire line or high waist band down from which the dress hangs straight down and hugs the body.

The dress is inspired by the shape of a kimono in the sleeve shape and the wide fitted waist band but it is unfussy, fitted, comfortable, and elegant. The simplicity of the dress's silhouette allows it to be dressed up or down with ease. Go sporty with some trainers or pumps or add some jewellery and a fitted jacket to make it more dressy.
