Mermaid Gypsy Flared Maxi Skirt/Dress Organic Cotton Lycra

Shown here in a fine 100% wool crepe, the Mermaid skirt is adapted from the popular Haruka Mermaid dress. Originally developed on the stand by inserting a series of silk cotton panels and pleats into a straight dress. Insets of pleats and panels sit in irregular places giving the skirt an uneven handkerchief hemline. This mid calf length skirt has fluidity, movement and a flattering silhouette.

The waistband is made from soft cotton lycra and can be worn folded down or fully up as a high waisted skirt. The jersey waistband makes the skirt comfortable and gives a flexibility with size.

Wash on cold wool wash with gentle detergent. Do not tumble dry
